Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026
OneTV ("we", "the app") respects your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use this app and website.
1. Core principles
OneTV is designed to operate primarily right within your home WiFi network. The app communicates directly with your TV and does not send your viewing history or control commands to our servers.
2. Information we process
- TV device information: your TV's name, network address, and pairing code are stored locally on your phone so you can reconnect quickly next time.
- App settings: preferences such as language, interface, and haptic feedback — stored on your device.
- Anonymous diagnostic data (optional): if you agree, we may collect anonymous crash reports to improve stability. This data does not personally identify you.
3. What we DON'T do
- We do not track the content, channels, or apps you watch on TV.
- We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties for advertising purposes.
- We do not require an account or personal information to use core features.
4. App permissions
- Local network: required to find and control TVs in your home.
- Keyboard: used when you type text to send to your TV.
5. Storage & security
Pairing codes with your TV are stored securely in your operating system's secure storage (Keychain on iOS, equivalent encrypted storage on Android). You can remove all paired devices at any time in the app.
6. Children
The app is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from children.
7. Policy changes
We may update this policy over time. Any significant changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
8. Contact
